Wuhan Foreign Languages School was one of the first seven foreign language schools in China established in 1964 under the direction and care of Premier Zhou Enlai and Vice Premier Chen Yi. It is also the only provincial key middle school directly under the Wuhan Municipal Education Commission. In 2000, the school entered the ranks of provincial and municipal comprehensive school-level model schools. The school is located in the Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone on the shore of Taizi Lake. It aims to train students to become higher education institutions with higher foreign language
proficiency and better general cultural knowledge. It lays a foundation for cultivating high-level foreign language talents and professionals who are proficient in foreign languages. To lay a comprehensive quality foundation for students to become innovative talents.
